You’re an expert at wearing a mask. But you’re starting to wonder at what cost.

  • You second guess your feelings and sometimes you’re not even sure what it is you’re feeling in the first place

  • Sometimes you don’t even trust your own decisions

  • You’re constantly exhausted from putting too much on your plate

  • Sometimes you feel really anxious or stressed & other times you feel numb or checked out

  • You say yes to everything when you really want to say no

  • You believe that having free time means you’re lazy or not working hard enough

  • You grew up in a house where your needs or emotions were ignored or "too much," so you learned to just keep your head down and keep moving

You want to trust yourself without needing constant reassurance

You want to understand your emotions without confusion, frustration, or shame

You want to be able to relax without a voice in your head telling you you're lazy

You want to believe that saying no doesn’t make you selfish, difficult, or bad.

You want relationships where you don’t have to overperform to be loved.

You want to stop tying your worth to productivity and how much you can carry.

You want to know that your needs matter, maybe for the first time.

More than anything, you want peace without having to earn it.

You’ve come to the right place.

I’m Kayla and I can help.

I’ll help you explore and unpack how past experiences, relationships, or events might still be impacting your nervous system today even if part of you feels like what happened was long ago.

Your nervous system tells a story. Bodies and brains are designed to help us survive. Sometimes, the tools our body and brain gives us to survive in the moment end up being the things that are holding us back in the present.

I am a millennial therapist who is compassionate, direct, and humorous. I particularly enjoy working with adults who appreciate dry humor as much as I do.

I am not a therapist who is a blank slate. I believe in order to develop safety in the therapeutic relationship I must show up as myself to the therapy space. So, I try to keep it real instead of cold and clinical.

Rather than relying on a single method, I utilize an integrated, trauma-informed approach, adapting the work to what you need in the moment.

Specializing In…

Anxiety & Stress

Your mind is always racing, you overthink everything, and it feels hard to truly relax. You want to feel calmer, more grounded, and able to handle life without constant overwhelm or feeling like you're constantly drowning or just getting by.

Self-Worth & Perfectionism

You put a lot of pressure on yourself and often feel like nothing you do is ever enough. You want to feel confident, trust yourself, and stop tying your worth to how much you can handle on your plate.

Trauma & Disconnection

You may feel numb, shut down, easily triggered, or like you’re always waiting for something to go wrong. If you had to grow up too fast, walk on eggshells, or ignore your own needs to get through childhood, those patterns can follow you into adulthood. You want to feel safe, present, and connected to yourself again.
